Medical Providers

Andrea Bertke, MSN, FNP-C

Ms. Bertke graduated from The University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then continued her education at Walden University, where she successfully earned a Master of Science in Nursing and her certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Ms. Bertke provides care for patients of all ages, and has now been a Certified Nurse Practitioner at Family Health Services since 2015.

Tracy Byington, LISW

Tracy Byington, LISW returns to FHS December 2019. She brings over 25 years experience in a variety of community and mental health settings. Tracy graduated from BGSU with her undergrad and received her Masters of Social Work from the Ohio State University. Tracy provides a multi-dimensional approach to meet the needs of the individual. Her training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Informed, Mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing. Tracy is now seeing patients of all ages.

Hannah Cavender, MSW

Ms. Cavender graduated from Cleveland State University with her Bachelor of Social Work and became a Licensed Social Worker. After practicing social work in the greater Cleveland area, she continued her education at The Ohio State University earning her Master of Social Work. She provides counseling for children and adolescents at the FHS Sandusky School Clinic.

Joshua Durkalski, LISW

Mr. Durkalski graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor of Social Work. He continued his education at The University of Akron, graduating with his Master of Clinical Social Work. Mr. Durkalski is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with his Supervisor endorsement. He comes to us from the Cleveland area with 6 years of community mental health experience working with both children and adults.

Renee Leber, LISW-S

Renee graduated from Defiance College and continued her education at Case Western Reserve University for her Master’s in Social Work. She has been licensed since 2007 with a focus in abuse and trauma working with all ages using evidence based practices such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) with children and Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) with children and adults. Ms. Leber also addresses social and family adjustments and mood disorders such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, and inattention. She is very passionate about empowering those around her to see their own inner strength.

Katherine Myerholtz, MSN, FNP-C

Ms. Myerholtz graduated from Malone University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then continued her education at The University of Toledo, graduating with her Master of Science in Nursing and successfully receiving her certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Ms. Myerholtz has been a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Family Health Services 2013 providing care to patients of all ages. Additionally she serves as our Associate Medical Director.

Edward Radatz, DO

Dr. Radatz completed his undergraduate degree from Anderson College in Indiana and attended medical school at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has over 30 years of experience practicing medicine, and joins FHS from Firelands Regional Medical Center as an attending emergency medicine physician. Additionally, Dr. Radatz serves as our Medical Director.

Jennifer Richardson, MSN, CNP

Jennifer graduated from Ohio University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then went on to further her education at University of Cincinnati where she obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner certification and Master of Science in Nursing. Jennifer joins Family Health Services and is able to provide care for patients of all ages.

Laura Spasic, MSN, CNP

Laura graduated from The University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then went on to successfully receive her Master of Science in Nursing and her certification as an Adult Practitioner from The University of Akron. Laura specializes in adult medicine, and joined Family Health Services in 2017.

Kevin Carnahan, DO, attended Wright State University for his undergraduate degree and Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine for his medical degree. His hobbies include sailing, construction, woodworking, and architecture, and he is very close with his parents, sister, and two nephews.

She attended the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens for medical school. She enjoys cooking, baking, spending time with her husband, family and friends, and traveling.

Executive Officers

David P. Tatro, Sr., MBA, FABC – CEO/CFO

Mr. Tatro comes to Sandusky, Ohio with 30 years’ experience in healthcare management. A native of Western Massachusetts, Mr. Tatro brings a strong background in organizational leadership, strategic planning and revenue enhancement through community partnerships. A former Chief Operations Officer for the last 10 years at Mary’s Center in Washington, D.C., Mr. Tatro grew the company from $8 million in 2009 to over $65 million in 2018. Mr. Tatro was also the founder and Chief Financial Officer for the Capital Clinical Integrated Network in Washington, D.C. which was comprised of multiple FQHC’s and Managed Care Organizations. Mr. Tatro is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA and received his MBA from Rivier College in Nashua, NH. He is a Fellow of the Advisory Board Company in Washington, D.C. Additionally, he is an active member of the Capital Chapter of the Nam Knights and a member of Freemasonry, of which both groups support veterans and philanthropically assist local communities. He and his wife Adele will be relocating to the Sandusky area. They have two adult children, Erika Rose and David Jr.

Edward Radatz, DO – Medical Director

Katherine Myerholtz, MSN, FNP-C – Associate Medical Director

Ms. Myerholtz graduated from Malone University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then continued her education at The University of Toledo, graduating with her Master of Science in Nursing and successfully receiving her certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Ms. Myerholtz has been a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Family Health Services for 4 years providing care to patients of all ages. Additionally she serves as our Associate Medical Director.
