• How Do I Qualify For Savings?

  You can access the savings advertised if you are not on government insurance and you live in Ohio.

  You may qualify for two kinds of savings:

  – the manufacturer savings program, which covers part of the cost, if you are not on government insurance.

  – the Family Health Services Savings Program

• How Does The Program Work?

  The Family Health Services Savings Program helps eligible patients access brand name weight loss medication at reduced out-of-pocket costs through financial assistance.

  During your online visit, your provider reviews your medical information and determines if a weight loss medication is right for you. The prescription is then sent to the McKeen Pharmacy (an accredited US pharmacy). Your medication ships free to your door in just a few days.

  With your program membership, you can access ongoing provider care from anywhere at anytime.

• Which Medications Are Available?

  If appropriate, your provider may prescribe a brand name medication, such as Wegovy® (semaglutide), Ozempic® (semaglutide), or Zepbound® (tirzepatide). The savings program offers only FDA-approved, brand-name medications.

  All medications prescribed and dispensed through this program are FDA-approved, brand-name GLP-1 medications. They are the auto-injector pens, as opposed to the vials of medications that require you to use your own syringes. We do not offer compounded medications through this program.

  These medications are available by prescription only. Not all members will qualify for the prescription. Important safety considerations apply, please ask your provider or consult the full prescribing information for Wegovy®, Ozempic®, and Zebpound®.

• How Much Does It Cost?

  Family Health Services offers financial assistance to local patients in Ohio, if their insurance does not pay for GLP-1’s or cost is a barrier to access.

  If you qualify for the program, Wegovy® and Ozempic (semaglutide) cost as low as $99 for 28-day supplies.

  There’s also a $29/mo membership fee that covers your online provider care, personalized nutrition guidance, and ongoing medical support.

  Total cost is as low as $128/mo for qualifying patients.

• What Does Membership Include?

  Your program membership gives you access to board-certified providers for weight loss care. No need for in-person clinic visits or scheduling appointments. You can message your provider any time with questions, and get ongoing support during and after treatment.

  Your program membership is non-refundable once you have submitted an online visit, regardless of whether you are prescribed medication. In addition, your membership renews monthly for the same $29 rate. You can cancel anytime by logging into your account and selecting “Plan & Payment.” Please see our Terms for additional information.

• Do You Accept Insurance?

  You can choose to pay for your medication in cash or with commercial insurance. While the program is not a health plan,  Family Health Services will check to see if you qualify for coverage under your existing commercial insurance program. They will provide the estimated cost through commercial insurance, so that you can decide.

  If your insurance doesn’t cover your medication, McKeen Pharmacy will help you sign up for drug manufacturer savings program and the Family Health Services Savings Program to reduce your out of pocket cost for the medication.

  We do not accept insurance for the program membership cost ($79), but you may be able to use your FSA or HSA to reimburse yourself for medical services and your prescriptions.

• How Quickly Can I Start?

  You can complete your online visit right after enrolling in the program. You can connect with a provider as early as today.

  Once prescribed, McKeen Pharmacy will call you to confirm your shipping, payment and delivery details. After confirmation, your medications ships overnight.

• Can I Cancel Anytime?

  Yes. You can cancel your monthly membership at any time by logging into your account and selecting “Plan & Payment.” Please note that membership is non-refundable for the current month once charged. Please see Hello Alphas Terms for additional information.

• How Soon Will I See Results?

  Many patients begin noticing changes in appetite or eating habits within the first 4 weeks. Most weight loss occurs gradually over time, and when combined with diet and exercise. Results vary by individual and medication type. Ask your provider about ways you can support your weight loss journey.
